Lola Beltran: New female illustrator now in Mushroom/ Lola Beltran: Nueva ilustradora de Mushroom

We are proud to announce that female illustrator Lola Beltran has joined us. Women are rocking it!

Lola Beltran is an illustrator and artist. She loves drawing, painting, designing and creating. Above all Lola loves life. And she tries to reflect this when she´s working, drawing inspiration from everything around me.

Born in Seville, Lola´s got a Bachelor and a Master in Fine Arts from the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (Spain) and she ´s specialized in screen-printing and Graphic Design at HAWK (Germany). Her working method is simple: "I need to engage with what I am illustrating. So before developing the first sketches I carry a conceptual research on the idea, to understand what I want to represent and not just how I will do it. Once I discover the identity of the idea it’s time to work in detail. I always strive to make sure that the technical side is perfect. In this regard, my illustrations are based on a classic work structure – starting with paper, pencil and ink, where my education in Fine Arts plays a vital role in this step. Then, I work with it digitally to achieve the final result".

Currently she works as a freelance for magazines, events, fashion brands, and a wide range of different client commissions – while she is developing more personal works that  she will show in individual and collective exhibitions.
